American Civilizations

        The Incans left behind incredible principles, customs, and beautiful sites of their culture.  For example, Machu Picchu, a town located on a mountain peak in the Andes Mountain Range of modern-day Peru.  Machu Picchu brings tourists to the area, and is one of the most faschinating and beautiful sites in the world.  In addition to Machu Picchu, Cuzco has been another beautiful city of the Peruvian civilization.  In fact, Cuzco is a bustling city with amazing architecture (shown below). 

The Plaza de Armas is a square in the center of the Cuzco city that many foreigners and tourists visit to see its  unique Incan architecture.  the city of Cuzco is also an important trading center for surrounding regions and neighboring countries.  It was named a a UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) World Heritage site (Jutter, 2).    This also brings tourists to the area because it is a well-known site.  Tourism is helpful to an area because it brings money to teh corresponding area and the country's economy therefore prospers.
